World PANS PANDAS Awareness Day #LightUp4PANS

#LightUp4PANS (green) PANS PANDAS Awareness day ASPIRE

2026 #LightUp4PANS

The 2026 #LightUp4PANS campaign is underway, with 119 landmarks already confirmed to light up green for World PANS/PANDAS Awareness Day on October 9, and more locations being added.

Each year, #LightUp4PANS brings together PANS/PANDAS organizations and communities worldwide. This year’s global partnership includes 17 advocacy organizations, building on more than 226 landmarks worldwide that lit green in 2025.

#LightUp4PANS raises awareness of PANS and PANDAS and the need for early recognition, knowledgeable healthcare providers, access to appropriate treatment, and continued research. The cost of inaction can be significant, with delays contributing to prolonged illness, repeated medical care, school disruption, lost work, and financial strain. A longstanding goal of ASPIRE is to shorten the time between the onset of symptoms and the start of appropriate treatment and support.

Light Your Home Green for #LightUp4PANS

Not near one of our #LightUp4PANS landmarks? Bring the green lights home!

Throughout October, families and supporters can light their porch, front door, windows, or home green to raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS. Participate for the entire month, during PANS/PANDAS Awareness Week, October 3–9, or on World PANS/PANDAS Awareness Day, October 9.

  • Light it green: Switch your porch or outdoor lights to green, or add green lights to a window, doorway, balcony, or yard.
  • Need green lights? Green LED bulbs and outdoor floodlights are widely available online and at hardware and home improvement stores. Look for bulbs rated for outdoor use if they will be exposed to the weather.
  • Invite others: Ask family, friends, neighbors, schools, workplaces, and local businesses to light up green too.
  • Take photos: Share your green lights, and include yourself, your family, or friends in the photos if you’re comfortable.
  • Share: Tag @aspirepans on Facebook and Instagram and use #LightUp4PANS.
  • Send them to ASPIRE: Email photos to info@aspire.care so we can share them too.

Landmarks help #LightUp4PANS reach communities around the world, but you don’t need a landmark nearby to participate. Every home that lights green helps bring PANS/PANDAS awareness into another neighborhood and community.
