An Onslow County woman is looking to spread awareness about a neuropsychiatric disorder both her children have been diagnosed with, one she said is often misdiagnosed by doctors.
Richlands resident Tatiana Otero’s nine and six-year-old daughters were both diagnosed with PANDAS/PANS, or Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections and Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome.
