WAKE FOREST — A touching video featuring Jason Wilson, or Jay Jay, led Wake Forest commissioners into their monthly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Jay Jay who will soon turn 18, has PANDAS, or Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections, a rare condition that is actually rarely diagnosed, the town’s proclamation reads.
Jay Jay was there for the proclamation, which read, in part, that children who have the disorder have symptoms that worsen following strep infections such as strep throat and scarlet fever.
