🌿 In May, during Mental Health Awareness Month, our Nebraska State Leads—Grace Troupe and Elizabeth Fandl—joined Where There’s a Will Foundation for their annual mental health awareness walk around Holmes Lake in Lincoln, NE. The foundation works along side our Nebraska ASPIRE chapter with education and support in our community.
Grace and Elizabeth hosted an ASPIRE table to raise awareness and share ASPIRE educational materials about PANS/PANDAS. They wore green and white to show support for mental health, walking alongside family, friends, and their Nebraska community. They also lead ASPIRE’s Nebraska ChitChat group—a local, peer-led support network for families impacted by PANS/PANDAS. If you’re in the area, we encourage you to attend! The fall meeting schedule will be released soon. Learn more here: https://aspire.care/Chitchat/lincoln-nebraska-chitchat-meet-up/
💚 Thank you to Grace and Elizabeth, and your families, for representing ASPIRE and helping bring PANS/PANDAS awareness to your local community!
