ASPIRE Presenting on PANS PANDAS
Children brought to behavioral health clinics with a sudden onset of changes in behavior and/or mood are often misdiagnosed and mistreated because clinicians don’t know the signs and symptoms of pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric disorders (PANS) or the related condition, pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with strep (PANDAS) – devastating, but treatable disorders. Clinical service providers need to have accurate knowledge of this disorder so they can provide correct referrals, treatment interventions and support. A clip from the award-winning documentary, “My Child is Not Crazy” will illustrate the impact of PANS/PANDAS on children and their families.

Our friend, colleague, and children’s mental health expert Dr. Roseann is hosting a free event called The Get Unstuck Parenting Summit. You’ll hear from trusted experts and from parents just like you, like ASPIRE’s president, Gabriella True, who have found answers to help improve their child’s behavior. Register for free right here!
