JC Konecny

Founding Board Member

JC Konecny served as the interim Fundraising Chair for ASPIRE, aligning her passion and vision to see a unification of effort and finical support in the post-infectious encephalitis community. JC’s professional career includes representing pharmaceutical companies in their efforts to market antibiotics and antipsychotics. Her training in these therapeutic areas informs her passion for research and its funding. JC is the former Executive Director of PANDAS Network, an international non-profit. As Executive Director she oversaw an international medical conference dedicated to PANDAS/PANS. Additionally, she organized the premiere and fundraising gala for the PANDAS documentary “My Kid is Not Crazy” at the Kennedy Center.

JC is the co-founder of wellbox, a company providing wellness care packages for employers. JC is also the creator and voice behind Brain Inflamed Podcast, the first podcast devoted to AE/PANDAS/PANS. She is the mother of two girls, one with a severe presentation of Autoimmune Encephalitis and one with a mild presentation of PANS, positioning her to connect with a disease community that experiences a wide range of symptoms and symptom severity. JC is committed to connecting people who are passionate about effecting positive change for those with post infectious brain disease.
